Picnic in the Park 2021 happened on Aug 25. We had a beautiful for our first event in almost a year. Attendance was a bit sparse but those of us who were there had a marvelous time, enjoying a fire, roasting meat and reconnecting with members in person. For the first time ever alcoholic beverages were allowed at designated sites in Hawrelak Park and our site #1 was included. It was nice to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with our meals. Thanks to Rick for bringing a growler of Alley Cat IPA to share! A big thanks to George for bringing wood and getting that great fire going!
