AGM 2021-2022
The WPSS Annual General Meeting was held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the St. Albert Legion. The event began with registration and time to mix and mingle. This was followed with a fine hot lunch served by the Legion kitchen. Lunch was completed with dessert and coffee/tea.
The business meeting was preceded by distribution of the AGM Booklet which provided members with the schedule, agenda, financial statements and all business reports for the past year. Call to order occurred as scheduled and business was quickly and efficiently dealt with. Our finances are in excellent shape for the year ahead. Events coordinator, Rick Meunier, is working hard at organizing our social calendar for the year ahead. Check the “What’s New” and “Future Events” pages for full details. There were changes made to the web page and the navigation is explained in the Newsletter/Web Page report. Of special note was the election by acclamation of a new board member, Sandra Mooney. Welcome to the Board, Sandra! We now have a total of 9 of 10 chairs filled for the upcoming year!
